About me

Sock Soup began as a lifeline.

At the end of my twenties, I hit a wall, a full, messy, mental-breakdown kind of wall. Creating became my way of finding my footing again. I started making little things just for me: bright, cheeky, unapologetically weird designs that made me smile on the days I didn’t think I could.

It grew from there.

Now, from my home in Southsea, with the endless patience (and tea-making skills) of my husband-to-be, the encouragement of my family, and the questionable “help” of my two cats, I create every single piece you see here myself.

Sock Soup is my reminder that out of the messiest moments, beautiful and ridiculous things can grow. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost, a little unhinged, or a little too much for the world, because those are often the best people.

Here you’ll find Prints, stickers, bookmarks, and cups (and more) that are bold, queer-coded, and gloriously chaotic. They carry the same spirit that got me through: laughter, colour, and a refusal to take life too seriously.

Thanks for being here. I hope you find something that makes you grin, snort, or feel a little more like yourself.
